Asit Tapte

Asit Tapte currently serves as Marine Superintendent for Exmar, managing operations of LPG vessels and bringing extensive experience in ammonia cargo handling since July 2023. Prior to this, Asit was an intern at PortXchange focusing on product development and data science aimed at decarbonization through digitalization. Asit has a significant background in the maritime industry, having worked for Northern Marine Group from August 2009 to June 2022 as Chief Officer and Navigation Officer on various vessels. Asit holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Economics and Logistics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and numerous certifications and qualifications in nautical studies and maritime operations from various institutes.
