Hadrien Bown

Hadrien Bown has a strong background in various roles within the energy and shipping industries. Hadrien began their career as an intern in several companies, including Exmar, Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings Limited, Western Bulk AS, and Mandarin Shipping Ltd. In 2015, Hadrien joined ExxonMobil, where they held various positions such as Financial Analyst, Crude Oil Trading, and Chartering Manager. Hadrien then moved on to Fluxys in 2020, working as an International Business Developer. In 2022, they became the Deputy Director at Hanseatic Energy Hub. Currently, Hadrien holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Exmar, starting in 2023.

Hadrien Bown earned a Master of Science (MSc) in International Management from HEC Paris in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from 2011 to 2013. In secondary school, Hadrien studied Mathematics and Economics at Sint-Lievens-College Gent from 2008 to 2010, and Latin and Greek at Abdijschool Zevenkerken from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Hadrien obtained certifications in "The Business of Shipping" from the Cambridge Academy of Transport in 2013 and a First Aid diploma from Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen in 2009.
