Sam Pilling

Sam Pilling has over 15 years of work experience, beginning in 2004 as an Operations Analyst - Energy Trading for Citadel Investment Group. Sam then moved to Newedge Group as a Summer Associate - Alternative Investment Solutions in 2007. In 2008, they became CFO & COO at Bright Power, Inc. and in 2010, they became Director of Commercial Operations at SunEdison and a Consultant at GSDPLUS. In 2014, they were hired as Director - Commercial Operations at NRG Energy and in 2016, they became CFO and Head of Risk at Redux Renewables. In 2017, they were hired as VP Finance at Rescale and in 2021, they were hired as Finance Lead at Future. Currently, they are the Head of Finance at EXO Freight.

Sam Pilling attended Yale University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a BA in Political Science. Sam then attended HEC Paris from 2006 to 2008, earning an MBA in Finance. In 2007, they also attended Columbia Business School as part of an exchange program, also earning an MBA in Finance.
