Hakim Weatherspoon

Hakim Weatherspoon is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Exostellar Inc., a startup focused on improving cloud-native application container performance, security, and cost. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Cornell University, including Professor, Associate Director for Cornell Institute for Digital Agriculture (CIDA), Associate Professor, Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion for the College of Computing and Information Science, and Assistant Professor. Hakim also served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Washington. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Research Associate at Cornell University and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. Hakim Weatherspoon started their academic journey as a student at the University of Washington.

Hakim Weatherspoon's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Washington, which they completed from 1995 to 1999.
