Ava Lehner

Ava Lehner is currently the Program Director for Policy and Sustainability at ExpandED Schools, where they develop and implement policies to enhance high-impact tutoring in New York City Public Schools. They founded Lehner Private Tutoring, LLC, providing academic assistance across various educational levels. Ava previously served as a Research Assistant at the University of Arizona's Department of Neuroscience, where they supported studies on Alzheimer’s disease. They also held roles as a Community Organizing Fellow at NextGen America and a Legislative Intern for Senator Kyrsten Sinema, focusing on issues like racial equality and reproductive rights. Ava is a recent graduate of the University of Arizona, holding a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.A. in Political Science, both with high honors.
