Hal Charvet

Hal Charvet has extensive experience in technology leadership with a focus on the travel industry at Expedia Group since March 2000. Serving in multiple roles including Sr. Director and Director of Technology, Hal Charvet has been responsible for managing cross-functional, globally distributed teams that enhance the lodging search experience. Achievements include transitioning the Hotel shopping experience to a cloud-based, microservice architecture, significantly reducing operational costs. Prior to Expedia, Hal Charvet worked as a Data Analyst at Hydroacoustic Technology, Inc., where responsibilities included hydroacoustic monitoring and statistical data analysis related to hydropower impacts on fish populations. Hal Charvet holds a degree from Gonzaga University.
