James Archer

James Archer is an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in hotel management and marketing. Currently serving as a Market Manager at Expedia Group since October 2017, James has also held the position of Area Manager for Scotland and North East England in a seconded role. Previous roles include Marketing Executive and Revenue Office Manager at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, as well as Front Office Manager and Guest Services Manager at G&V Royal Mile Hotel. James has extensive experience in team leadership, with a history of managing large teams, along with proficiency in feedback management and troubleshooting. Notable achievements include being a key member of the management team that launched the significant Hotel Missoni brand and creating the front office Standard Operating Procedures manual. James holds a degree in Religious Studies from Newcastle University, earned between 2002 and 2005, and attended St Edwards School, Oxford, from 1996 to 2001.
