Peter Stern

Peter Stern is an experienced design leader currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Experience Design at Expedia Group since February 2023, where leadership of UX teams focuses on creating impactful travel products. Previously, Peter held various roles at Blink, culminating in the position of Head of Design, fostering design leadership and large-scale UX project management from February 2014 to March 2023. Peter also founded and directed Canned Heat Design (CHD), a UX Design Consultancy, from January 2005 to February 2014, contributing to the design of desktop applications, websites, and mobile interfaces. Early career experience includes significant positions at Microsoft as Design Director and Product Designer from June 1997 to 2005, and as a faculty member in the Advanced Technology Department at The American Film Institute between February 1995 and January 1997. Peter Stern's educational background includes studies at ArtCenter College of Design and Louisiana State University.
