Ryan Hillman

Ryan Hillman is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the travel and software industries. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Technology at Expedia Group since February 2013, Ryan leads the Intelligent Applications organization, focusing on personalized travel assistance through advanced capabilities and conversational components. Previously, Ryan held roles at Expedia Group as Director of Technology, where leadership of conversation intelligence engineering teams led to significant advancements in AI/ML for virtual agents, and as Manager of Software Development, overseeing a global team responsible for customer support solutions. Prior experience includes significant roles at Microsoft, eLoyalty, and Earthlink, with a strong foundation in application architecture, design, and computer telephony integration. Ryan holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
