David Blanton

David Blanton has a solid work experience in the field of cybersecurity. David started their career as an Intern (Sys Admin) at BAE Systems, Inc. in 2013. In the same year, they also worked as a Jr. Information Security Analyst at Raytheon Foreground Security. In 2015, they joined Dev Technology Group, Inc. as an Associate Web Application Developer before moving to FS-ISAC as a Cyber Security Analyst. Since 2017, David has been working at Expel, where they began as an Associate Detection & Response Analyst and gradually climbed up the ladder to become a Principal Detection & Response Analyst in 2022. David has shown a consistent growth and wide range of skills in their work experience.

David Blanton has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Capitol Technology University. David is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Digital Forensics from George Mason University, which they are expected to complete by 2022. In addition to their academic qualifications, David Blanton has obtained several certifications, including GREM - GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware from GIAC Certifications in 2017, Security+ from CompTIA in 2014, and GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN) from GIAC Certifications in 2019.
