Ian O'Connell

Ian O'Connell is currently the SOC Manager at Expel, where they oversee the Security Operations Centre and manage cyber security initiatives. They obtained a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science in Digital Forensics & Cyber Security from Technological University Dublin. Previously, Ian worked in various roles, including SOC Analyst at Integrity360 and Threat Hunting & SOC Team Lead at CommSec, where they led teams and developed security solutions. Ian actively participates in Capture The Flag events and shares their programming tools on GitHub, reflecting a strong passion for IT security.
