James Luo

James Luo is a General Partner at CapitalG, where they lead software investments with a focus on infrastructure, security, and developer platforms. They currently serve as a Board Observer for several organizations, including Orca Security, Constant Contact, Newfold Digital, and Expel, and hold investment roles at CrowdStrike, Dataiku, and Armis. Previously, they worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and were an investor at Advent International and Viking Global Investors. James holds an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School and an A.B. Summa Cum Laude from Princeton University.
