Jennifer M. is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in incident response and security operations. Currently serving as a Senior Incident Response Analyst at Expel since March 2021, Jennifer leads the identification, containment, and resolution of critical computer security incidents. Previous roles include Security Operations Lead in the MDR, where responsibilities encompassed triaging and investigating numerous security incidents, including business email compromise and cloud infrastructure issues. As a Detection & Response Analyst, Jennifer utilized a variety of security tools to investigate endpoint activity, triage network alerts, and conduct hypothesis-based threat hunting. Jennifer's earlier experience includes positions at the University of California, where responsibilities ranged from managing student accounts to providing educational technology support and leading service desk operations. Jennifer holds an Undergraduate Certificate in Applied Cybersecurity from SANS Technology Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from UC San Diego.
