Mark Porter

Mark Porter is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in endpoint security and systems administration. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Expel since November 2018, Mark has been instrumental in managing endpoint management systems across various platforms, creating automated deployment policies, and ensuring optimal security technology performance. Mark’s key contributions include transitioning the phone system from Cisco WebEx to Zoom Phone, deploying management tools for enhanced usability, and maintaining compliance with SOC 2 Type II standards. Prior to Expel, Mark held positions at FireEye, Inc. and Safran Landing Systems, where responsibilities included IT support, user access management, and leading multiple technology deployment projects. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics from Northern Kentucky University.
