V Gonzalez

V Gonzalez is currently a Senior Detection and Response Engineer at Expel, bringing 14 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in protecting the Department of Defense against various threats. Previously, V served as a Detection Engineer for Red Canary and was an Offensive Cyber Operations and Python Scripting Instructor for the United States Air Force, where they mentored future cybersecurity professionals. V has also held various roles in system engineering and quality assurance, and is dedicated to implementing technological solutions and training to enhance security measures. V is pursuing an Associate of Science in Information Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, and another Associate of Science in Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare from the Community College of the Air Force and Western Governors University.
