Peter Walker

Peter Walker is a Technical Expert at Experconnect, having held the role since 2022. Previously, they served as the Head of ST and HEX engineering at GE from 2018 to 2022 and as the Head of NTI/NPI Engineering for Steam Power Systems at GE Power from 2015 to 2022. Peter began their career as an Advanced Projects Engineer at Rolls Royce Aero Engineers in 1988, shortly after earning a Bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge. They have worked with Alstom Power and its predecessor companies since 1988, where they led global steam turbine R&D efforts and served as Acting Head of Steam Turbines during a pivotal transition.
