Chris Wada

Chris Wada serves as SVP of Group Finance for Revenue Recognition, ICFR, and ESG at Experian, overseeing central finance teams and driving projects focused on automation and controllership excellence. Wada has extensive experience in finance leadership, including interim roles as Regional CFO for Asia Pacific and Group Director of Revenue Recognition, where responsibilities encompassed financial oversight during an acquisition period and the creation of a global revenue recognition function. Previous roles include managing financial control in various regions, leading IFRS 15 implementation, and providing commercial finance support at HIT Entertainment. Wada's career began in audit and assurance at Andersen and Tenon plc. Chris holds a 2:1 BA (Hons) in History from Durham University.
