Dimitar Vasilev

Dimitar Vasilev has extensive experience in analytics product development and economic modeling, currently serving as the Head of EMEA & APAC Analytics Product Development at Experian since 2010, where responsibilities include managing the development and maintenance of analytics products and overseeing the research and implementation of machine learning methodologies. Previously, Vasilev held various positions at Experian, including Head of EMEA Analytics Product Development and Operations Manager for the Analytics Center of Expertise in Sofia. Prior to joining Experian, Vasilev was the Head of Department at the Agency for Economic Analysis and Forecasting, where macroeconomic modeling and data warehouse development were key responsibilities. Vasilev's expertise also encompasses roles in quantitative analysis and teaching at Sofia University, contributing to advancements in economic forecasts, modeling methodologies, and technological solutions. Vasilev holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
