As the current Sr. Director of Threat Detection & Platform Engineering at Experian, Gopal drives innovative security outcomes through automation and threat detection strategies. Previously, Gopal held various impactful positions at Visa, where they built global cybersecurity teams, implemented open-source solutions, and significantly improved operational efficiencies. Gopal also contributed to cybersecurity initiatives at companies such as Microsoft, Amedisys, and First Data Corporation, demonstrating a strong commitment to mentorship and fostering a culture of innovation within teams. Gopal holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computers from Manipal Institute of Technology.
