Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson is a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with 15 years of experience in enterprise IT engineering across managed service providers, public utilities, and financial services sectors. They began their career as a network and firewall engineer and transitioned into IT security, currently focusing on cloud security at Experian. Steve holds several certifications, including CISSP, CCSP, and AWS Certified Security Specialty, and has been an active member of the SANS/GIAC Advisory Board since 2017. They earned a distinction in Network Optimisation from Staffordshire University and a Diploma in Computing from The Open University.
