Wen Chen

Wen Chen currently serves as the Director of Application Security at Experian since October 2024, following a decade-long tenure at The Walt Disney Company where significant contributions included the formulation and execution of a global enterprise application security strategy, oversaw 30+ FTEs and managed $15 million annual budget . Wen also held roles such as Sr Manager of Application Security, overseeing SSDLC services and integrating various security tools into developers’ workflows. Wen is also a US patent holder for external attacker surface management using AI/ML. Prior to that, he was a Staff Security Engineer, leading Red Team operations. Previous experience includes directing product development and security assurance at Sage Information Systems, where a next-generation mobile banking solution was developed for the largest bank in Taiwan. Wen's earlier career features leadership positions at Webweb.com and WebHost4Life, with an educational background that includes an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a BS in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
