Vilas Dudhat

Vilas Dudhat has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on analytical and formulation science. Vilas is currently working as a Sr. Scientist at Experic since October 2022.

Prior to their current role, Vilas worked at Akorn Pharmaceuticals from November 2017 to September 2022 as a Sr. Analytical Scientist. In this position, they were responsible for reviewing all ANDA documentation for discrepancies and technical errors, preparing analytical and quality documents for ANDA submissions, and validating various analytical methods. Vilas also had experience in writing investigation reports and providing technical support to departments as needed.

Before joining Akorn Pharmaceuticals, Vilas worked at Novel Laboratories, Inc. in various roles. From January 2016 to November 2017, they served as an Analytical Scientist-II. Prior to that, they were an Analytical Scientist-I from January 2014 to December 2015, and a QC Chemist from October 2012 to December 2013. During their time at Novel Laboratories, they gained experience in analytical method development and validation, as well as quality control processes.

Earlier in their career, Vilas worked at Johnson and Johnson as a Formulation Scientist from February 2012 to August 2012. Vilas was involved in product and process development, pre-formulation, scale-up, and technology transfer.

Vilas also held a role as a Formulation Scientist at Stevens Institute of Technology from August 2011 to December 2011. In this position, they were responsible for product and process development, optimization of process parameters, and coordination with various departments.

Vilas Dudhat completed their education in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Practices (PMP) and Validation and Regulatory Affairs from Stevens Institute of Technology. Prior to their M.S. degree, Vilas Dudhat earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Pharmacy from L.J Institute of Pharmacy, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
