Nicholas Masters - Aca

Nicholas Masters - ACA has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Nicholas started their career in 2011 as a Capital Investment Intern at Carbon Desk. Nicholas then worked as a Sales Assistant at IMG and an Olympics Transport Coordinator at Silvey Sports Ltd in 2012. Nicholas also had a role as a Recruitment Administrator at HSBC in the same year. In 2013, they worked as a Sales Consultant at TOPdesk, where they independently managed sales projects and guided customers through the process. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at BDO UK LLP as an Assistant Audit Manager. In 2020, they joined Farewill as a Financial Controller, later transitioning to the role of Head of Finance. At Farewill, they were responsible for building out the Finance Function and providing key support to the top management team. Nicholas worked at Thrift+ as Head of Finance from 2022 to 2023, contributing to the mission of accelerating the transition to a circular fashion economy. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Finance at ExperienceFirst, starting in 2023.

Nicholas Masters - ACA completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) hons degree in Economics and Business Management at Newcastle University from 2009 to 2012. Nicholas then pursued their ACA degree in Accounting at ICAEW, from 2015 to 2018. Prior to their university education, Nicholas completed their A levels (ABB) and GCSEs (1A*, 3A, 4B, 1C) at Bradfield College in 2003. Nicholas also holds additional certifications, including the PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2015, First Aid At Work certification from St John Ambulance in 2014, and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS in 2013.
