Ashok Suppiah

Ashok Suppiah has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Ashok is the Co-founder and Chairman of Mitra Innovation, a global company that helps entrepreneurs, investors, and enterprises accelerate innovative ideas into successful businesses and solutions. Ashok is also the Co-Founder and CEO of experienz, a company they started in 2020. Additionally, they are a Member - ESG at Top Tier Impact, a global community of investors and entrepreneurs leading the ESG agenda. Ashok is an Ambassador for E2E, a platform that enables extraordinary connections for high-growth entrepreneurs. Ashok serves as the Chairman of the Board for Mitra Ventures, another company they are involved with. Prior to their current roles, Ashok was the Managing Director of MITA Enterprise, a technology innovation firm focused on optimizing existing solutions and implementing disruptive and innovative products. Ashok also co-founded Vintage Yacht Share, where they offered luxury charter yachts, land and sea excursions, and exclusive lifestyle experiences. Ashok has held various leadership positions at BT, including Chief Architect, Partners and Head of Strategic Vendor Performance. Ashok also had a successful career at Virtusa, where they served as the Managing Director for EMEA, SVP Client Services for the UK, and Chief Technology Officer. With Virtusa, they played a crucial role in expanding the business beyond the UK and establishing offshore delivery centers in Sri Lanka. Ashok's work experience demonstrates their expertise in innovation, entrepreneurship, business development, and leadership across multiple industries.

Ashok Suppiah holds a PhD in Computing from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed an MSc degree in Computing at the same institution from 1991 to 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Ashok Suppiah has obtained the MIET certification from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in April 2016.
