Bastiaan Rooth has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.

Bastiaan started their career in 2002 at KPN Telecom as an ADSL 2nd Line Support Engineer, where they worked until 2004.

In 2004, they joined Universiteit Utrecht as a Desktop Support Engineer and Teamleader Local Support, and remained in this role until 2008.

From 2009 to 2016, Bastiaan worked at LetmedoIT, where they held various positions including Teamleader Supportdesk & Network Operations Centre, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), and Cloud Regisseur.

Since 2018, they have been working at Experlogix, Inc. as a System and Support Engineer.

Bastiaan Rooth completed their secondary education from 1987 to 1994 at Baudartius College, where they obtained a VWO degree. Their field of study included English, Dutch, Biology, Mathematics A+B, Physics, and Chemistry. Following this, Bastiaan pursued their higher education at the University of Twente from 1994 to 2003, majoring in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Bastiaan Rooth has obtained several certifications. Bastiaan earned the certifications of MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) from Microsoft in December 2010. Furthermore, they achieved the certifications of MCTS Windows 7 in May 2010, MCTS Windows Vista in January 2009, MCDST Windows XP in March 2006, and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) in March 2006. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Presentation Skills from Niqué Consultancy in September 2005.
