Tomas Balog

Tomas Balog, PhD, is a seasoned professional in technology and analysis, currently serving as Co-Founder of Space scAvengers and Founder of Strýco Berco s.r.o. Since September 2020, Tomas has also been an Information Technology Analyst at Expersoft Systems, where responsibilities include financial model creation and software testing. Prior experience includes leading the Data Science team at NIKÉ, where Tomas focused on machine learning for risk management and customer relationship management, and serving as Technology Architect and Plasma Milling Department Manager at GA Drilling, overseeing research and development of high-temperature plasma technologies. Tomas began a career in academia as a Postdoctoral Researcher at GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research and holds dual PhDs in Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave and Elementary Particle Physics from Goethe University Frankfurt.
