Robert Carter

Robert Carter has over 20 years of work experience in the fields of technology, marketing, and research. Robert began their career in 1996 as a Project Director at Goldfarb Consultants. In 1997, they moved to Bell Canada | Sympatico.ca as a Senior Research Manager, responsible for primary and secondary market research initiatives. In 1999, they joined FloNetwork / DoubleClick (later acquired by Google) as a Senior Research/Product Marketing Manager. In 2001, they moved to PlateSpin (later acquired by Novell | MicroFocus) as Director of Market Research. In 2003, they became a Founding Partner of Riverdale Partners, where they worked closely with clients to develop corporate strategy, vision new products, and implement high performance sales systems. In 2007, they joined MaRS Discovery District as an Advisory Services/Marketing Consultant. Finally, in 2010, they became Co-Founder and VP of Product at ExpertFile, a SaaS platform designed to help corporate, higher education, and healthcare clients manage their content and improve visibility for their experts.

Robert Carter has an MSc. in Marketing Management/Research from the University of Guelph and an HBComm in Marketing from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne. Robert also has three additional certifications: Content Marketing: Staying Relevant from LinkedIn (obtained in February 2018), Online Marketing Foundations from LinkedIn (obtained in February 2018), and Certified Salesforce.com Implementation Partner (1st in Ontario, 2nd in Canada) from Salesforce.
