Matthew Neethling

Matthew Neethling has a diverse work experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Matthew currently works as the Technical Talent Acquisition Team Lead at Expertlead. Prior to this, they were the Co-Owner of The Barn Owl Coffee, where they managed the day-to-day operations and customer service. Matthew also held roles at Expleo Group, Pro Talent Specialist Recruitment, Retail Detail South Africa, multiSEARCH, and The Unlimited, where they gained experience in talent acquisition and recruitment in various industries.

Matthew Neethling has a diverse education history. Matthew completed their secondary education at Kuswag High School from 2000 to 2004, and then continued their high school studies at Port Alfred High School from 2005 to 2006. After completing high school, Matthew enrolled at Varsity College, where they obtained a degree in Public Relations/Image Management from 2008 to 2008.

Furthermore, Matthew has pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In August 2008, they obtained the PRISA Basic Principles of Public Relations certificate from Varsity College. Matthew later received the Individual Staffing Practitioner Certificate from APSO in December 2015. Additionally, Matthew acquired the SCA Intermediate Barista Skills certification from the Speciality Coffee Association of Southern Africa in February 2021. Most recently, in October 2021, they completed the Excel with LinkedIn Recruiter Assessment offered by LinkedIn.
