Vincent Pons

Vincent Pons has extensive work experience in various positions. Vincent currently holds the role of Associate Professor at Harvard Business School since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Professor at the same institution from July 2015 to July 2020. Vincent also co-founded a company called eXplain in October 2012, which focuses on AI solutions for professionals dealing with the public sector. Additionally, Vincent served as the Field Director for the Presidential campaign of François Hollande from January 2012 to May 2012, where they managed a large-scale get out the vote effort and designed the communication plan for this effort. Vincent'searlier experience includes working as a Research Associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) from June 2007 to June 2008, where they were involved in implementing a randomized evaluation of a water connection program in urban Morocco.

Vincent Pons began their education in 2003 at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, where they obtained a Master's degree in Philosophy. In the same year, they also enrolled in Ecole normale supérieure, where they studied Philosophy and Economics, although it is not specified whether they earned a degree from this institution. Vincent continued their educational journey in 2004 at the Université de Paris School of Economics, where they completed a Master of Arts degree in Economics. From 2005 to 2006, Pons pursued further studies at Sciences Po, focusing on the Economics of International Relations, which resulted in a Master of Arts degree. Additionally, during the same period, they also attended ENSAE, where they completed their third year of study in Economics. Finally, Pons went on to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2014.
