Dominic Demma, MS, currently serves as a Scientist at Explico, where the focus is on investigating and reconstructing traumatic injury accidents through inspections, analysis of scientific literature, and detailed biomechanical assessments. Prior to this role, Dominic worked as a Lab Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, supporting an undergraduate Cell and Tissue Engineering course, and also held various managerial roles such as Foellinger Auditorium Manager and Illinois-Student Admission Representative. Dominic participated in the Research Experience for Undergrads program at the University of Pennsylvania, emphasizing mechanobiology research. Dominic holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Wayne State University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field at Wayne State University.
