Steven Peters

Steven Peters is an experienced Community Projects Manager at Exploding Kittens, Inc. since January 2021, also managing special programs. As a self-employed immersive experience and game designer since 2005, Steven has provided consulting services while serving on the Board of Advisors for Hipster Bait. Previously part of the advisory panel for the XR Safety Initiative, Steven contributed to the development of the XRSI Privacy Framework. Co-founding No Mimes Media and serving as Chief Creative Officer from 2009 to 2019, Steven also hosted and executive produced the StoryForward Podcast from 2010 to 2017. Additional roles include Lead Experience Designer at Niantic, Inc., Executive in charge of experience design at Fourth Wall Studios, and Experience Designer at 42 Entertainment. Steven served as President and CEO of Vital Interactive Media from 1987 to 2005, producing music for several prominent clients. Educational achievements include attendance at California State University, Northridge, and UCLA.
