Daniel Zink

Daniel Zink has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Daniel currently works as a Business Relationship Lead at Explora Journeys since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at nicko cruises Schiffsreisen GmbH from December 2021 to March 2022.

From 2016 to 2021, they held the position of Sales Representative for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria at both Holland America Line and Seabourn Cruise Line.

Before that, from 2011 to 2016, Daniel served as a Regionalverkaufsleiter at Cunard.

Daniel started their career at Viking Cruises in 2007 and held several positions including Key-Account-Manager, Verkaufsleiter, Vertriebsassistent, Aushilfe, and Marketingpraktikant.

Daniel also has experience in the German Federal Armed Forces, serving as part of the Stammbesatzung on the Segelschulschiff "Gorch Fock" from 2002 to 2004, and completing a Bordpraktikum on the Fregatte "Schleswig-Holstein" in 1999.

Before joining the military, they worked as an Aushilfe at PAGNA GmbH & Co.KG from 1996 to 1998.

Daniel Zink has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Management, Tourismus und Reisedienste, which they obtained from Hochschule Harz. Daniel attended the university from 2004 to 2009. Prior to their bachelor's degree, they completed a Fachausbildung in Schiffswartung/Mechaniker und Schiffsreparaturtechnik/Techniker at Marinetechnikschule Kiel in 2001. In the previous year, they also completed an Ausbildung in Maschinenbautechnik/Maschinentechnik/Techniker at the same institution.
