Mario Barca

Mario Barca has over 14 years of work experience in the IT industry. Mario is currently serving as the Head of IT at Explora Journeys since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at MSC Cruises where they held various roles. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as the Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations, overseeing global IT operations management and IT infrastructure management. Before that, they served as the IT Infrastructure Manager from 2012 to 2016, where they were responsible for maintaining the organization's effectiveness and efficiency through strategic technological solutions. Mario started their career at MSC Cruises as an IT Senior System Administrator from 2007 to 2012, handling system administration and implementing new technical solutions. Before joining MSC Cruises, Mario worked at Dell as an IT Support Specialist for a brief period in 2006.

Mario Barca completed their education from 2002 to 2008 at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, where they obtained a Degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on computer science.
