Elliot Smith

Elliot Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development, growth strategy, and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Growth at Explorate since November 2022, Elliot leads go-to-market initiatives for a supply chain visibility solution. Previously, as Head of Product at Maxwell Plus from July 2016 to September 2022, Elliot developed AI tools for prostate cancer detection and successfully raised $6M AUD in funding. Elliot's early career includes founding HSK Instruments, focusing on health application software, and an educational background that culminated in a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Queensland, where research oriented around MRI systems. Additionally, Elliot held roles as Careers Officer for the UQ Electrically Based Engineering Student Society and Undergraduate Engineer at Ausenco.
