Adam Smith

Adam Smith is the President and CEO of Exploration Place. They previously served as Executive Vice President, Strategic Development at the Commemorative Air Force (2013–2017) and as Executive Director of the Comic-Con Museum at Comic-Con International (2017–2019). They held roles including Senior Vice President, Center to Advance the Pilot Community at AOPA (2012–2013) and Vice President, Membership and Museum Director and Vice President, Outreach at EAA (2007–2011). Earlier in their career, they were Curator, Museum of Flight at the National Museums of Scotland (1996–2001). They earned a BA in History with First Class Honours from the University of Leeds (1990–1993) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Museum & Gallery Studies from the University of St Andrews (1993–1994).
