Dan Andersen has a long and varied work experience. Dan began their career in 2009 as a Board Member for The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship. In 2010, Dan became a Health Insurance Specialist/Research Analyst for The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. In 2011, Dan was an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). In 2012, Dan was an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. In 2014, Dan became a Principal Research Associate for IMPAQ International. In 2018, Dan was a Program Manager for Lantana Consulting Group. In 2019, Dan was an Adjunct Faculty and Program Coordinator for McDaniel College and a Principal for Andersen Home Advantage. In 2020, Dan became the Director of Healthcare Analytics Services for RELI Group, Inc. and in 2022, Dan became the Chief Health Informatics Officer for Explore Digits Inc.
Dan Andersen has an extensive education history, starting with a BHS from the University of Miami in 2000, followed by an MPH from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2003. Dan then earned a PhD and MS in Gerontology and Epidemiology from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2008. Prior to this, they attended Springfield College from 1996 to 1998, studying Sports Biology. In addition to their educational background, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified SAFe 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2020, Managing and Writing Federal Proposals from Shipley Associates: We Help Companies Win Business in 2018, and Certified Aging in Place Specialist from the National Association of Home Builders in 2018.
