Samuel Pettyjohn is currently the Senior Advisor of Health Literacy and Communication at Health Literacy Media, where they manage multiple client projects and provide technical support on health literacy and research programming. Previously, they served as Health Literacy Program Manager at Health Literacy Missouri, coordinating trainings and conducting assessments for health professionals. Samuel's early experiences include working as a Development Intern at the Saint Louis University Cancer Center and holding various roles in project coordination and research at East Tennessee State University. They hold a DrPH in Community and Behavioral Health from East Tennessee State University, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from Saint Louis University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Bradley University.
