Richard A. Sansom

Richard A. Sansom is a skilled software engineer currently employed at ExploreLearning since June 2021, previously serving as Lead Software Developer at Northern Arizona University from November 2018 to June 2021. At Northern Arizona University, Richard contributed to the development of the Online Launch Calendar, a Ruby on Rails web application utilized by the National Park Service and Grand Canyon River Outfitters Association for planning and tracking rafting trips in the Grand Canyon. Richard's experience also includes roles as a Wilderness Instructor, where responsibilities involved planning and leading backcountry excursions while managing risk and guest safety, and as a Challenge Course Supervisor/Facilitator, where programs were organized for diverse groups on campus. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Business from Northern Arizona University and an Associate of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Pima Community College.
