Blake Whitley, PhD, PE, CWI, is a metallurgical engineer and certified welding inspector currently serving as a Managing Engineer at Exponent, where they assist clients with failure analysis and materials engineering challenges. Previously, Whitley held positions at Alstom Power as a Metallurgical Engineering Intern and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines. They participated in an NSF-funded research program focused on alternative energy sources, presenting findings at the TMS conference in 2011.
