Managing Scientist Regulatory Efficacy Ppps And GEP Lead at Exponent

Brian Prince has extensive work experience in the field of plant protection products regulation. Brian started their career at ICI Plant Protection Ltd. in 1975 as a Biological Scientist, where they conducted herbicide screening. Brian then worked as a Field Trials Officer at various companies, including A. H. Marks Ltd., Cyanamid Co. Ltd., and Dow AgroSciences, from 1984 to 1992. In 1992, Brian joined the Pesticides Safety Directorate as a Higher Scientific Officer, where they worked until 2006. Since 2007, they have been with Exponent, where they currently hold the position of Managing Scientist Regulatory Efficacy PPPs and GEP Lead. In this role, they lead a team of efficacy experts and advises clients on meeting efficacy requirements for plant protection product authorization in Europe. Brian is responsible for writing efficacy protocols, managing trials programs, and compiling efficacy dossiers for submission to European regulators.

Brian Prince attended Farnham Grammar School from 1967 to 1975. It is not specified whether they obtained a degree or studied a specific field during this time. Later, from 1981 to 1984, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours degree in Agricultural Science (Crops) at the University of Leeds.
