Dave Peraza

David B. Peraza is a Principal Engineer in Exponent’s Buildings and Structures practice, with over 35 years of structural engineering experience. They have participated in major investigations, analyzed existing structures, and designed solutions for distressed buildings, among various other projects. Notably, after the 9/11 attacks, Peraza led the emergency engineering response for New York City. Prior to their role at Exponent, they served as Vice President at the LZA Technology division of The Thornton-Tomasetti Group. Peraza earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio Northern University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
