David Burnett

David Burnett has a diverse work experience in engineering and research. David started their career at CPP Wind Engineering Consultants in 1991 and then worked at EDAW as a Civil Engineer from 1993 to 1994. In 1995, they joined Brockman Engineering, Inc. as a Civil/Structural Engineer and stayed there until 1999 when they became the owner of Select Structural Inc. David owned Select Structural Inc. for five years until 2004 and during that time, they were also a lecturer at the University of Colorado Denver in 2004. From 2000 to 2008, they worked as a Project Engineer at Western Engineering & Research Corporation. After that, they became the Division Manager at AEI Corporation (Advanced Engineering Investigations) from 2008 to 2015. Currently, they are working as a Senior Managing Engineer at Exponent since 2015.

David Burnett earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Building Materials & Wood Technology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 1997 and 2000.
