Managing Scientist at Exponent

Erin Kirkpatrick has had several roles in their work experience. Erin began at Alfred University in 2004 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Erin then moved on to Corning Incorporated in 2005 and continued as an Undergraduate Research Assistant until 2006. In 2006, they joined Cornell University as a Ph.D. Candidate, where their research focused on developing stimuli responsive nanofibers for integration into microfluidic platforms. Erin completed their Ph.D. in 2011 while still at Cornell. Later in 2011, they joined Exponent as a Managing Scientist. Erin also had a role as a Managing Scientist at Exponent Failure Analysis Associates.

Erin Kirkpatrick earned their bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Alfred University, graduating in 2006. Erin then pursued higher education at Cornell University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) and a Ph.D. degree in Fiber and Polymer Science. Erin completed their studies at Cornell University between 2006 and 2011. Additionally, Erin Kirkpatrick gained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in June 2019.
