Ilke Öztekin

Ilke Öztekin is a Senior Scientist at Exponent, where they apply their expertise in human information processing to evaluate human factors related to safety information, child safety, risk analysis, and accident analysis. With over 15 years of experience directing research projects involving human subjects, Ilke specializes in human memory, attention, and cognitive control, employing experimental methods including brain imaging and machine learning for data analysis. They earned their PhD in Experimental Psychology from New York University and completed postdoctoral training at Brown University. Prior to Exponent, Ilke held academic positions at Koç University and Florida International University, contributing to the scientific community through teaching and research in human cognition and neuroscience.
