Imran Naved

Imran Naved is a skilled thermal sciences associate currently employed at Exponent since December 2024, with extensive experience in aerothermal engineering and computational physics. Previously, Naved served as the lead aerothermal engineer at Reaction Engines, leading high-enthalpy hypersonic engine ground testing and external wind tunnel experiments for the Hypersonic Vehicle eXperiment project. Naved's background includes roles as a computational physicist at Fluid Gravity Engineering Ltd and internships with prominent organizations such as Facebook, Rolls-Royce, and Shell, where significant contributions were made in areas like aerodynamic design, cabin air quality verification, and additive layer manufacturing. Naved holds a PhD in Hypersonics and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oxford.
