Jacques De Beer

Dr. Jacques De Beer, Ph.D., CFEI, is a fire safety expert with multidisciplinary expertise in fire protection. They served as a Senior Associate at Exponent, focusing on engineering and causative analysis. Previously, Dr. De Beer worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Pretoria, where they conducted analytical tests on polymer films and developed data reduction methods. They also gained experience as a Fire Investigation Technician at Hexagon Fire Investigation and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland. Dr. De Beer is currently completing their studies at the University of Maryland, pursuing their doctorate.
