Jordan Pitt

Jordan Pitt, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at Exponent, having joined the organization in February 2024, following a role as a Scientist. Prior experience includes being a Graduate Student at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from June 2018 to February 2024, where research focused on the dynamics of microplastic accumulation and health impacts on biota using fish as a model organism. Prior to that, Jordan served as a Student Researcher at Duke University from June 2016 to May 2018, investigating the ecotoxicology of nanoparticles in fish. Additionally, Jordan was a General Chemistry Teaching Assistant at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry from August 2015 to May 2018, providing support to students in chemistry coursework. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a PhD in Biological Oceanography from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
