Katie Becker

Katie Becker, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of research, with a focus on human factors. Katie most recently held the position of Human Factors Scientist at Exponent starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital) from September 2020 to January 2023. Katie also gained valuable experience as a Doctoral Student at Colorado State University from August 2014 to August 2020, and as a Professional Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from September 2012 to July 2014.

Katie Becker, PhD has an extensive education history. Katie began their academic journey in 2007 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Germanic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. Concurrently, they also studied Neuroscience and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in the same field.

After completing their undergraduate studies in 2012, Katie furthered their education at Colorado State University. From 2014 to 2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, specializing in understanding the neural processes underlying cognition. Building upon their master's degree, Katie went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at Colorado State University from 2017 to 2020. Katie'sdoctoral research focused on exploring the intricate workings of the brain and how they relate to cognitive abilities.
