Data Science Research Associate at Exponent

Lauren Lossner is currently working as a Data Science Research Assistant at Exponent since August 2022. Before that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant in the Sensorimotor Learning Lab at Columbia University in the City of New York from September 2021 to December 2021. In 2021, they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Motor Rehabilitation & Learning Lab and as a Biomedical Engineering Instructional Assistant and Grader at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. Lauren was an Undergraduate Researcher at the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative during the same time period. From 2018 to 2021, Lauren worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University, where they focused on modeling interictal spike depolarization and its effect on action potential inactivation. Lauren also had a role as a Seasonal Fulfillment Colleague at Macy's from October 2020 to January 2021. Other previous experiences include being a Pre-Health Intern at NeuroHealth Solutions, a Biomedical Engineering Intern at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic, and a Biological Student Intern at The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. Lauren was also a Lead Counter at PANDA EXPRESS GOURMET CHINESE FOOD from May 2017 to December 2018.

Lauren Lossner completed their education in a chronological order. Lauren attended San Pasqual High School from 2013 to 2016 and obtained their high school diploma. Following that, they enrolled at Mountain View High School for the year 2016-2017. Lauren then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Arizona State University, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. Most recently, they completed their Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Columbia University from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Lauren Lossner obtained two certifications. Lauren received the "GCP for Conflict Management" certification from the CITI Program in August 2023. Furthermore, they also acquired the "GCP for Clinical Investigations of Devices" certification from the same institution in January 2023.
