Mark Colatosti

Mark Colatosti has over 20 years of experience in various IT roles. Mark began their career as a System Administrator at St. Lawrence Cement in 1998 before moving on to Navigant Consulting as a Senior System Administrator in 2000. Mark then joined LECG, where they held positions such as Network Engineer, Manager Network Services, and Enterprise Engineer from 2000 to 2010. During this time, they managed corporate systems, implemented network designs, and supervised a team of information systems employees. From 2010 to 2021, Mark worked at Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, where they served as Senior IT Operations Manager, ISMS Manager, and Sr. Security Architect. In these roles, they were responsible for infrastructure management, security program design and implementation, as well as the design and implementation of a complex multi-account AWS cloud architecture. Mark is currently working as a Senior Cloud and Network Architect at Exponent, starting in 2021.

Mark Colatosti completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from York University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Ryerson University from 1992 to 1994, focusing on Electrical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Mark has obtained several certifications in AWS (Amazon Web Services), including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2020, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services in November 2017, and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA) from Amazon in August 2017.
